Warhammer Online: Sorceress Tier 2 RvR Video
Sorceress is now top of Tier 2, so here is a selection of clips from this evenings RvR… Enjoy!
This resulted in a couple of results that looked something like this…
You can download a larger version of the video here (47mb).
Misc: WAAAGGHH!!

The image speaks for itself really, doesn’t it?
Warhammer Online: Sorceress RvR Video - Nordenwatch
I took a bunch of videos while doing the Nordenwatch scenario as my Sorceress, but this little clip really summed it up… Enjoy!
More to follow soon no doubt! Onwards to the Temple…
World of Warcraft: Zhevra Mount
Well I logged into WoW this evening really very briefly to claim my Zhevra mount from the refer-a-friend package Blizzard put out. I couldn’t really decide which character to claim it on, so just went for my Paladin which was the character I was playing most just before WAR came out.
It looks pretty cool, and I’m sure it’ll come in handy should I play when WotLK comes out… I’ve included a screenshot below.
Shortly after logging out I cancelled my subscription… I really want to be one of the figures of subscribers WoW lost to WAR ![]()
Warhammer Online: Sorceress Action Damage Calculator
I’m not a massive fan of just linking off to someone elses blog posts, but this one deserves a mention as it has some great potential!
Chad over at SpellDamage has just released his Sorceress Action Damage Calculator, a pretty handy tool - If you’re playing a Sorceress it’s definitely worth a gander.
Warhammer Online: Sorceress… It’s for PEWS
So I decided to hit up RvR really hard tonight as I was at the top of my bracket (started level 9, ended level 11) - and I got to say… It’s seriously, seriously, SERIOUSLY fun! Watching peoples faces melt while you’re throwing bolts of shadowy goodness at them is just never ending glee.
I have included some screenshots of the outcomes below, they speak for themselves really…
If you wanna have some fun for a wee while, make a Sorceress… And go melt faces.
Warhammer Online: General Update
Seeing as I haven’t really posted anything since the games release, I am going to post a very brief update on what I’ve been up to…
Fistly, Ainia the Zealot is now rank 20, and renown rank 16. I’ve generally been levelling her in PQs and in RvR, because solo as Zealot is slow, and not very fun at all. I really enjoy the healing side of things in both PQs and RvR, and never fail to top healing in any Scenario… It’s just a shame the solo play is so damned boring and slow.
Emerald is my Sorceress, she is currently rank 9, and is good fun to play, nothing like critting a mob to death in two hits. I try to RvR with her where possible, but Destruction seems to have very slow pop times on occasions.
Trick is my Witch Elf, who I haven’t really played too much yet, but I will let you know any progress she makes.
I also had to go give Witch Hunter a try after getting a bit annoyed with them in RvR, the class seems very fun to play, I got it to rank 5 entirelly in RvR, so I am hoping Witch Elf plays the same so I don’t have to play Order too much!
That’s all for now, will post again soon with many sceenshots for your amusement!
Warhammer Online: My Little Pwny

Well it has been decided. We will be rolling on Karag Orrud, Destruction.

Warhammer Online: Maxing Graphical Settings
I decided to see how WAR would look if I turned everything up to max, including every hardware setting on my SLI GeForce 7900 GS… You can see the result below.
As you can see… Not too shabby! I can play PvE just fine with these settings, but as soon as I got to having 20 people running about on my screen raping each other in RvR, it lagged just a little too much, dropped down to about 5 fps I think. Come live I will try and balance it out so I can get about 30 fps and see what settings that’ll require.
Warhammer Online: Career Choices
With the Warhammer Online open beta coming to a close, it’s time for me to make some decisions about what I will be following through into the live release.
My initial thoughts, before I played beta, had me leaning towards a Disciple of Khain, however upon playing the class I decided that I didn’t really get on very well with its mechanics.
Going with the healer scheme, I tried out Shaman. Shaman is an interesting class to play, but again I was not sure about its mechanics. I found it quite annoying to play, but this may well have been because I tried Shaman out as a level 31 premade character in closed beta. Perhaps come live I will eventually get around to trying it again from scratch.
This left me with Zealot to play in terms of healing. Zealot I enjoyed right off the bat, the instant cast heals, HoTs, DoTs, and shields were very apealing to me - and would prove most useful on the RvR battlefields which is where I imagine I will end up spending a good deal of my time.
With my main class decided on, I started considering some alts. I’m quite prone to making alts, as the various level 70s (3) and 60s (4) in WoW prove. Now, a DPS class of some kind would be the obvious choice, so I spent some time going through them.
After briefly trying out each DPS class, I think I have narrowed the choice down to either Witch Elf or Sorceress. Obviously ranged DPS is going to have the mass advantage in RvR from what I have seen so far, so Sorceress is the slightly more apealling career choice here. I am however, going to follow Schozie’s advice of “Why not make both?”
See you on the battlefields!
